This week saw the installation of a 3 meter high stained glass window set into a light box and hung on the wall of a North London Synagogue. The translation of the 11th Century poem by Raphael Loewe which was visualised in a design by Michael Hall under Loewe’s supervision. Rainbow Glass Studios were then commissioned in 2014 to make the stained glass window using the same techniques available to the medieval glaziers. It’s a very esoteric and interesting piece which was a privilege to work on.
